Part of our role is to press for speedy and equitable settlement of claims for material damage suffered by our clients. We endeavour to ensure that any liability claim made against one of our customers is dealt with in their best interest. It is essential that an insurer is able to establish at an early stage whether there is any liability. A few pertinent questions at the outset can prevent delay and misunderstanding later on.

We ensure that the claims team has ongoing dialogue with account handlers, and with other Hugh Wood International companies and affiliates across the world. This means that we can easily call upon the resources necessary for the optimum handling of your claim.

While many insurance companies and brokers have claims staff operating from a remote site, our claims handlers have full access to the account handlers and their files. This close co-operation between the teams provides a seamless service to our customers.
